Humbled...

I love this picture...because it's so telling of Mike's mom...Elaine...she does nothing but love and serve. We could never have made it this far without her...she is truly priceless! Love you Elaine

Today I am truly humbled by the love of so many people! It's already been so long since everything has happened...yet people still stop us and ask...truly...how we are doing....how we're handling things...and what they can do to ease things...It's with the most sincerity of their hearts. But when asked...it's like being touched by an angel...just the mere fact that people care so much...it makes those days when I truly feel like this is impossible...it's possible...and we're not alone!

Thank you!

I haven't commented here before, but I check your blog frequently to see how things are going. This picture of Elaine requires that I echo your sentiments of her. She is one of my all-time favorite people. Your whole family is wonderful, which is why I check this blog - to somehow stay connected to you all. Thank you for your messages of faith and perspective! Love to you all.

How is Mike feeling today? I hope he was able to start rehab, but if not, I hope he'll be over his sickness and can go soon. Remember: one little baby crawl at a time, right?

OK, I'm going to try for the 100th time to leave a comment. I think I've been typing the wrong username. Michelle, I've watched you throughout this entire ordeal just become someone stronger: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You were great before, but now, look at you. You are someone to look up to for generations to come. I feel honored to have you and Michael and Brody and Jocelyn live under our roof and share you life with us. The good times will keep on coming because you are good and so is Michael. Love ya, MomE.

What a sweet picture of Elaine and your baby - I also love Elaine, she is one of a kind, no wonder Mike is able to do what needs to be done - he's got Elaine as his mom, Michelle as his wife, me as his neighbor ;-> ah heck Mike you were already great all on your own, now your greater (hummm is that correct grammer?) - Jayne Gray
