You Know Your 2 Year Old Loves You When...

From The M&M Kemp Family

Exhausted from working early one morning...I came out to the living room...laid down on the couch...just to rest my eyes for a minute. Jocelyn...nearly 2...came running across the room wanting to sit by me. She had just woken up for the day and had not yet been changed of her soggy diaper. I could feel her making the steep climb up the couch...but I was so tired...I hadn't focused on her task...as I drifted off...I suddenly felt a heavy, squishy, stinky, soggy bum...on my face!!! It was...well all those things...squishy, stinky, soggy...and heavy. I guess she really does love me! I'm not sure we've ever been quite that close! ...I'm sure we'll find better ways of expressing our love in the future! In the mean time...we love you Jocelyn... & your soggy bum!!

The tings we do as moms and smile at is so amazing to me... You say things like "We do not chew gum off the ground" or "stop licking that railing" motherhood is a funny thing...
